No. Weesize processes documents entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.
Is Weesize really completely free?
Yes. Weesize is free, open source, and has zero limits, subscriptions, watermarks, or accounts required.
How does exact-size compression work?
Our client-side engine iteratively optimizes image streams and metadata targets until the file reaches your requested KB size without degrading legibility.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page is loaded, you can turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect from the internet and continue compressing and editing files.
