Are my files sent to any server?
No. Weesize processes documents entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.
Is Weesize really completely free?
Yes. Weesize is free, open source, and has zero limits, subscriptions, watermarks, or accounts required.
How does exact-size compression work?
Weesize reduces image quality and dimensions step by step until the file hits your target size. If the target is too small to keep the image readable, the tool tells you exactly what size is possible instead of giving you an unreadable file.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page is loaded, you can turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect from the internet and continue compressing and editing files.
