About this tool
Phone photos are large because they are large in pixels and lightly compressed. This page scales the long edge and writes a new JPEG unless you picked another format. The original on disk stays until you overwrite it yourself. Location data is not copied into the download. A photo that is already a few hundred kilobytes may not shrink, and it should not be damaged to pretend.
Reduce photo size stays on this device. The download is the copy you keep, and Weesize does not store a second one. Close the tab when you are finished and the bytes are gone.
